Summit Oxygens' 'Pulse Dose'© system offers the climber unprecedented endurance.
The ‘pulse dose’ meter detects a climbers inhalation instantaneously delivering a precisely measured dose of oxygen at the leading edge of inspiration. This extends the endurance of the cylinder by a minimum ratio of 3:1. The system is fully compatible with 'Himalayan Summit' or 'Poisk' equipment. To acheive the maximum benefits of the system it is recommended that Pulse Dose is used for sleeping and climbing up and including the top camp before switching to constant flow for summit day.
