Introduction
Supplementary oxygen on Kilimanjaro is not intended to take the place of a proper acclimatisation programme which should remain the maxim for a successful expedition. The use of supplementary oxygen will, however, greatly increase your chances of successfully making it to the summit of Kilimanjaro and enjoying the experience.
Equipment
The set of equipment we will provide for your expedition on Kilimanjaro will consist of 2
oxygen cylinders and a complete Pulse Dose© system.
This allows you one oxygen cylinder to sleep on the night before you depart for the summit. This will not only eliminate the effects of the altitude but will also give you a great nights sleep. The second oxygen cylinder is for use on summit day. Using oxygen on summit day will greatly increase your chances of success. Customers who have used our system to the summit have all said that they felt fantastic on the summit whilst everyone else just wanted to get down as quickly as possible.
Rental charge - $200.00
The rental charge includes all in-country training, delivery and collection of your equipment.
Remember, your expedition should be enjoyed not endured!
